What is public in Community, and how to report or delete a post
Prepare a safe public example, understand what reports reveal, and know what happens when you remove a reply or the first post in a topic.
Check what everyone will see
A published topic or reply shows its title or body, your Community public name, and a date. People can read public discussions without an account. The public page does not display your Account email, but any personal information you type into the post is still public.
Use a small example you are permitted to share. Remove customer names, private repository URLs, source code you cannot disclose, access tokens, licence secrets and personal identifiers. Paste only the relevant error excerpt. Community post text is displayed as text; pasted HTML is not an interactive embed.
A useful question is specific
Choose the product category and write a title describing one problem.
Include the product version, operating system, the smallest reproduction, what you expected and what happened.
Explain what you already tried. Check the public name and text before posting.
Account recovery, payment details and security incidents belong in a private support channel. Do not post confidential information and then rely on deleting it later. Readers, search engines or other systems may already have copied a public page.
Report a post privately
Sign in, open the post and choose Report. Explain what a moderator should review without repeating exposed secrets. The reason is sent to the moderation queue, not added as a public reply. Reporting does not immediately hide the post; a moderator reviews it.
For a security incident or exposed credential, also use security@altifigence.com and revoke the credential through its issuing service. A post report cannot revoke an API key or recover an account.
Remove your own post
Use Delete my post on your own published post and confirm the action. Removing a reply hides its body from the discussion and leaves an author-removal notice. Removing the first post makes the whole topic unavailable publicly and closes it to new replies.
Deletion from public view does not erase copies made outside the service or promise immediate removal of every retained operational record. If the problem concerns personal data or a wider account request, contact private support. A moderator cannot restore an author-withdrawn post through the restore action.
