Get started with Digital Design Studio

Digital Design Studio runs in Cloud in your browser or as a desktop app on your PC. To create or open a small file, save a change and reopen it, follow Getting started: save and reopen your first file. Use the official Downloads page for currently available installers; availability can differ between the desktop, CLI, and Cloud environments. ALcad is part of the same application; see the ALcad guide.
Sign in with your Altifigence account when prompted. A Free account can get started; individual paid capabilities depend on your plan. Installing the application does not itself start a subscription. Review the feature comparison at https://www.altifigence.com/pricing/ before choosing a paid plan.
Before you contact support
Check the selected workspace, release version and current documentation. Cloud and desktop capabilities can differ.
If an action reports that a backend, format or tool is unsupported, retain that message when asking for help; do not repeatedly start the same operation.
Switching workspaces changes the task context; it does not mean that analysis or simulation has already run. Check the status and output of each operation.
If the application cannot open a project, include the application version, operating system, file type, and exact error when contacting support.
Share a minimal example you are allowed to disclose rather than a complete private design.
Keep a backup of important work before trying a new release or importing a project.
