Find, save and download your Academy learning records

Separate your Academy profile from public reading, recover missing progress, and understand earlier browser-only lab records.

Create the profile that owns your progress

  1. Sign in from Academy using the account you intend to keep learning with.

  2. Open the profile menu and save your Academy profile if requested.

  3. Open a course and enroll for free to save its learning progress.

  4. Use My learning to find enrolled courses, view the learning outline or continue from the next lesson.

Reading a public course page is different from enrolling and saving progress. If the page asks for a profile or enrollment, complete that step first. A successful sign-in alone is not a saved lesson record.

Confirm that a lesson was saved

Use the course's completion or answer action and check its feedback and the learning outline. If saving fails, keep the page and retry after checking the connection. Do not assume that a clicked button or a visible answer means the server stored the record.

For practice pages that offer a download or copy action, keep the exercise file separately when you need it. A course completion mark is not a backup of every circuit, code edit or temporary experiment in the browser.

When progress seems to be missing

  1. Confirm the account and Academy profile, especially after switching a Google or GitHub account.

  2. In My learning, select the full course list instead of only the completed or in-progress filter.

  3. If the page reports a changed profile or an ended session, sign in to the intended account and reload.

  4. If it reports a connection failure or paused saving, preserve your work and contact support rather than resetting the records.

Earlier introductory lab records may exist only in the browser where they were completed. The profile's import action imports those earlier local lab records; it is not a general import of all course progress or arbitrary files. Private browsing, another browser or cleared site storage will not contain the original local records.

Download records and use reset deliberately

In the profile's records controls, use the download action to save your Academy records as JSON. Check that the file downloaded before clearing site data. The download is a record copy, not a promise of a full restore or account migration feature.

In a course outline, Edit progress lets you select lessons and mark them incomplete. Use this for deliberate review, not as a way to fix a connection error. Before asking support about missing records, note the course, lesson, account, approximate time and the visible error without sending credentials.
